Being Excluded and Invisible

Born into this world to be a future leader but never participate in the present. There is nothing as bad as being a novice in a case you are involved in.

So many youths and young people living with disabilities are excluded from planning their future because they are made invisible to the present.

Issues of low family background is an obstacle to young people because nobody is ready to listen to anyone who has no name or an ascribe status.

Stigmatization and discrimination of the disabled people have been the topic of the day in Africa. We tend to set aside the interest and feelings of the physically challenged, the main issue we refuse to think about is that they are not mentally challenge and so they can take part in development of Africa.

They all have families, friends and lives like you and I and above all, they have Hope. So, why do we have to think for them and make decisions for them when we don’t feel what they feel and know their in-depth problem.

It is high time we limit our responsibilities and allow these ones speak and make their decision. Let’s join hands and make their voice not only heard but seen by allowing them PARTICIPATE in developing Africa.
Let’s make them VISIBLE and INCLUDED by standing for change.

Respect the Physically Challenged! Show some LOVE and let them LIVE.
